Bert Newton has been announced as the host for the 2010 Logie Awards, to be held May 2 at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. 2010 will be the 19th time Bert has hosted the Logies.
It has been confirmed that Susan Boyle will appear at the Logies. Other guests include John Mayer and Gabriella Cilmi.
Furthermore, the Logies will remain to be held in Melbourne for a further three years after speculation that the event may move elsewhere such as the Gold Coast.
Nominations will be announced March 29.
The Logies air on channel Nine May 2.
