Australia’s best loved drama series, McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS will return for its seventh year in 2007.
McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS will gallop onto screens Wednesday, February 7 at 7.30pm with the return of some familiar faces and the introduction of some hot new characters.
This season, welcomes two new cast members Matt Passmore (Last Man Standing) and Abi Tucker (Secret Life of Us). Matt Passmore plays Marcus who arrives at Killarney with a big secret, while Abi Tucker plays Grace, Regan’s (Zoe Naylor) estranged sister.
In May 2007, McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS will film its 200th episode with some surprise cast members returning to Drovers Run for this special event.
In the series return episode, it’s shearing time at Drovers Run, the weather is perfect and the girls are keen to get their first day started. However, Jodi’s (Rachael Carpani) day is thrown into chaos when Matt (Jonny Pasvolsky) suddenly returns. Finally free of his assumed identity, he has travelled back with plans to rekindle his relationship with Jodi. Yet their reunion is complicated by her feelings for Riley (Dustin Clare) and the two men are soon in competition for Jodi’s attention.
Regan has her hands full with young tear-away Tayler (Gillian Alexy) as she tries to cover for her mistakes and provocations. To make things worse Tayler then steals the shearing money and takes off with Stevie’s (Simmone Jade MacKinnon) ute. When Alex (Aaron Jeffery) stops Tayler from leaving town, Regan decides to offer her forgiveness to Tayler and welcomes her into the Drover’s circle. While a moment of thoughtless rivalry between Riley and Matt causes a serious accident. Leaving them both trapped in danger of being electrocuted, while a fire threatens to burn down the shearing shed.
McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS gallops into Series 7, Wednesday, February, 7 at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.

I am watching Mcleod's Daughters for the last 2 Years. A lot changed, since then.
For the last 4 month i couldent watch my favourite Series, since last week I am on again, and I am enjoying it so much, they are a lot of new faces, what is good!
My question is: What about Tess and Nick, Dave, Stevi,Meg, Jodi and Matt, and Alex?
What happend to all of them now, after to have Babys, moving to South America and so on.... and falling in Love or even getting Married.
Please let me know if we can expect some of them back on our Sreen.!!?

i cried too when claire died.But i also think they kind of ruiened the show when they killed her off.
But i can't get enough of it.The new charcters are just as great as the old.I mean how HOT is riley. (Damnn).

I like them both too, Alex, Stevie and Claire are or were my most liked persons.
But I got a question too. Can somebody tell me, if the season 8 is started in Australia, yet. We have big discussions about that here in Germany. We are waiting for Season 7 to come on TV. And if we know when Season 8 starts in Australia, we can count through when it comes to Germany.

Well you can do what we did when WE stopped showing the series in the US, we looked on the internet and found a company in Chicago that sold Region Free DVD players, then we ordered the series DVDs from Australia!
Works great, now we are anxiously waiting for season & to come out.

I LOVE MCLEODS!!! look on the bright side people! atleast we still have stevie and alex in the show! I love them! they are soooo cute together!!! and now a baby is coming!! YEAH!!! alex is the perfec man!! I also wish jodi and tess and nick could come back,like at the last episode! still cant believe series 8 is the last. I think im addicted to this show! i cried like a baby when claire died! but now my fav characters is stevie and alex!! riley can die!!! what about kate!!!!!

Dont Take My Word For It But I Have Just been Informed That Series 8 Of Mcleods Daughters(yes the last series) Will Air On The Nine Network Here In Australia On The 6th Of Feb 08..As I Said This Hasnt Been Confirmed But Thats Just What Iv'e Been Told..

I have never seen such beautiful series am in Uganda but I have been watching it on Hallmark but it looks like those girls were meant to ride on those horses they really look beautiful and all the guys are great with their neighbourly care I look that spirit

Does anyone know how i can watch Mcleods DAughters from United states? I only started watching them with my mom and sis, but so far, its and awesome show. I also agree with everyone else-they should bring back dave, tess, nick,etc. its not the same without them.

Hi, Apart from the fact that we are being shown almost the entire McLeods Daughters series all over again (somehow Series VII is not being shown to us - and we are losing the thread between VI and VII), we are sure going to miss Alex (Aaron Jeffries)as I believe he will leave the cast at the end of Series VII.
What will happen to Stevie (Simmone MacKinnon) whom the scriptwriters have married to Alex? Please don't tell me she will also leave the series. I agree with Aaron that the plots are getting too far fetched and with most of the characters leaving, the series is losing it's appeal. It will be sad not to have our favourite people on our TV's when we sit down to enjoy our daily dose of McLeods Daughters.

how can it be mcleods daughters if there are no more mcleods daughters left????? all the main people are leaving and it is not the same bring back the cast members, Tess, Nick, Jodi, and who ever else is or has left. i really enjoy watching mcleods daughters it is one in a million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Riley does die. He will depart in the first episode of next year in 2008 when Mcleod's Daughters Returns for it eigth Series in Feburary
Regan will be returning to drovers early next series persusming possbly within the first 5 episodes
i did see on the mcleods daughters wikipedia that rachael carpani who plays jody could be returning to mcleods daughters next year
and kate and alex are also leaving next year
any more information anyone needs to know
