A champion water skier’s career could be over after she crashes during a competition, fixing Mum’s fence was never meant to be dangerous and paramedics respond to a child in desperate need after a shocking car accident.

A car with five passengers has run off the road and into a tree. A five-year-old child is only one of the two surviving passengers which forces paramedics to re-think their approach. Doses of medication change and smaller children can be difficult to intubate. They decide that Connor needs the most urgent attention. His condition has already begun to deteriorate and he needs urgent medical assessment. Trauma staff at the Children’s Hospital are on standby to assess and treat Connor’s injuries.

A 20-year-old tradesman has shot himself with a nail gun while fixing his Mum’s fence. Emergency staff at the Alfred must try to remove the 4 inch nail from the back of Ross’ foot.

A junior world record holder water skier has crashed off a jump at high speed. Paramedics are concerned that Karina may have injured her neck.
