This week on MEDICAL EMERGENCY, paramedics are called to an overturned car – a woman’s been hurt and they need to move her fast. Plus, a young man has fallen from a tree and a stack on the track is bad news for Peter.

A vintage car race has ended in a five car pile up and one man is trapped. The track’s Emergency Response team has freed the man and Peter will be flown to the Alfred where doctors will investigate the pain in his back.

Meanwhile at the Alfred Hospital, a man has been brought in to the Trauma Unit after falling out of a tree. X Rays will determine if there s any serious damage.

In Melbourne, paramedics are one a Code One call out to an overturned car. Paramedic Craig needs to find out if Susan’s been seriously injured but first she needs to be moved out of harm’s way.

Back at the Alfred, the cardiac team needs to act quickly. 69 year-old Arthur’s heart attack has been caused by a blocked artery and he needs emergency angioplasty to clear it.
