This week on MEDICAL EMERGENCY, a man has been travelling for 40 hours to get treatment for his badly broken leg, a 79 year-old woman has been hit by a car and a truck driver may have suffered a heart attack.

In Sydney, a man has come straight from the airport after an agonising 40 hour trip to get medical assistance. Finn’s accident was two days ago and with the bone broken through the skin, he runs a high risk of infection.

Paramedics in Melbourne have been called to a Code One and 40 year-old truck driver Craig needs to be taken to hospital after crashing his truck through someone’s side fence. Paramedics are worried the cause of Craig’s crash may have been a heart attack.

Meanwhile in Emergency, a 79 year-old woman has been brought in after being hit by a car. Olive will need her first ever stitches after being knocked to the ground by a reversing car.
