In an amusing twist, the finale episode of Medium Season 4 commences with Joe Dubois having a very dark dream during which he dreams he murders his conniving and manipulative business partner, Meghan Doyle, played by special guest star Kelly Preston. Could Joe finally be walking in Allison’s shoes and experiencing what it is like to foresee a murder?

Meanwhile, Allison is contacted by Charles Winters, a husband who is trying to convince his wife that they do not live in a haunted house. After investigating the house, Allison admits she doesn’t feel any presence, however her dreams tell her otherwise, and she is forced to delve in to the mystery of the house to uncover some very chilling secrets.

9.30PM THURSDAY / JUNE 19

A known drug smuggler is murdered and Allison is able to identify the killer, Joey Carmichael, through her dream. However, when Allison and Scanlon meet the alleged killer, all is not what it seems. Joey has physical and mental issues which stem from gun wounds to the head he received when he was the victim of a break and enter, and he just doesn't have the dexterity to hold a gun. How could he have commited murder?

Meanwhile, Meghan apologises to Joe for making an untoward move on him when she was drunk, which he gingerly accepts. He still remains dubious about her, especially when she orchestrates a meeting with a very well-known businessman – are her intentions professional or does she have an ulterior motive?

When Allison's car stops working, Joe surprises her with a new car, which he bought at a bargain price. What he doesn't realise is the car has a very dark and disturbing history related to an unsolved crime, which Allison stumbles upon in one of her dreams. Allison takes it upon herself to investigate the incident and her probing uncovers not only the truth, but also stems a new development in the case. Joe's new business partner, Meghan, makes her feelings towards Joe quite clear – will he be able to spurn the advances of a very attractive woman and colleague? And what does Allison know about Meghan that Joe doesn’t?

Allison dreams a death that involves a friend of Detective Scanlon which is actually happening in present time. When some additional factors in regards to the death come to light, Allison realises that there are a number of incidents that seem to be linked by a very dark and disturbing secret.

Meanwhile, Allison experiences her own health problems when she suffers from faints and memory loss which cause her to not dream. Without her dreams, what will Allison to do?

KELLY PRESTON BEGINS A FOUR EPISODE ARC AS AN ATTRACTIVE VENTURE CAPITALIST WHO SEES SOMETHING SPECIAL IN JOE AND HIS INVENTION AND KURTWOOD SMITH (THAT 70'S SHOW) REPRISES HIS ROLE AS FBI PROFILER AGENT COOPER.

Venture capitalist Meghan Doyle (special guest star Kelly Preston) likes what she sees when Joe presents on his new solar power-based invention to her investment firm.

Doyle's decision to independently fund and become business partners with Joe ultimately creates tension in his marriage to Allison.

Meanwhile, FBI profiler, Agent Cooper (special guest star Kurtwood Smith) desperately tries to convince Allison he's back in Phoenix to track down, not murder, another serial killer. But Allison's dreams are telling her a different story.

Allison and Scanlon team up to track down a dangerous femme fatale following the savage murders of two young men.

Meanwhile, as the campaign for local D.A. revs up, Allison gets a feeling that someone close to Devalos is plotting against him.

“Poor Rosanna, her first day [on the set] was a love scene,” Patricia Arquette told Parade Magazine. “Two days in a row of love scenes,” her sister, Rosanna added.
Patricia declared she was really enjoying Rosanna’s work but “to see her as this sort of carnivorous mercenary kind of dangerous person ... it was disturbing.” She also mentioned that her older sister was the first person she told she wanted to be an actress. It seems that Rosanna was the one who paid Patricia’s acting classes.
