In an amusing twist, the finale episode of Medium Season 4 commences with Joe Dubois having a very dark dream during which he dreams he murders his conniving and manipulative business partner, Meghan Doyle, played by special guest star Kelly Preston. Could Joe finally be walking in Allison’s shoes and experiencing what it is like to foresee a murder?

Meanwhile, Allison is contacted by Charles Winters, a husband who is trying to convince his wife that they do not live in a haunted house. After investigating the house, Allison admits she doesn’t feel any presence, however her dreams tell her otherwise, and she is forced to delve in to the mystery of the house to uncover some very chilling secrets.

Meghan, so far, as avoided death, as predicted in Joe’s foreboding dream, but Joe does tell her that he wants to get out of their business partnership, based on her unprofessional and inappropriate behaviour to date. Meghan doesn’t let go of their business project without a fight, but when she does, she makes him a grand offer he just can’t refuse. But what really is her motive? When Joe uncovers the depth of her deceit, lies and manipulation, there is only one thing on his mind… but could he really be capable of murder?
