Rahma El-Dennaoui: NSW (Still Missing)

Rahma was just 18 months old when she was abducted from her bedroom in the Western Sydney suburb of Lurnea in the early morning of November 10th 2005. Father Hosayn put her to bed with her two older sisters at 2am but at 8am when the family woke Rahma was gone. Parents Hosayn and Alyaa were quickly ruled out as suspects early in the investigation. The only key piece of evidence was the flyscreen on the outside of the open sliding window that was deliberately cut with a sharp instrument creating a large enough U shaped flap for someone to enter the bedroom or lean in the window and remove a child. By the end of day one of the ground search police concluded that Rahma had not wandered off and they were dealing with an abduction. The search was expanded for the next four days to include Pol-air, the dog squad and divers but despite up to two hundred personnel searching they found no trace of her. Detective Nick Sedgwick is currently reviewing the case to prepare a report for the NSW State Coroner. Rahma would now be four years old. The Government has offered a one hundred thousand dollar reward for information to solve the case.

Renee White: NSW (Found)
When 21 year old Renee White disappeared, she left her three young children with her mum, Eunice. Police spoke to Eunice at Macquarie Fie1ds Police Station. Eunice was worried that Renee might have gone back to her ex-boyfriend. Police also spoke to Renee’s dad, Paul, who Renee had been staying with. Police then found that Renee had used her bank account in the same suburb her ex lives in. When they went to his address, they found her there, having a cup of tea with his mum. Renee had wanted some time out to sort out parenting issues with her ex. She was reunited with her relieved family.

Jesse Evans: NSW (Found)
Jesse Evans is 12 years old and has runaway from home. Her mother reported her missing after 6 days. Police find out she’s running with another girl Ashleigh who is 13. Police canvas the City Town Hall where the girls are meant to be hanging out but have no luck. They also canvas the Hornsby shopping area where the girls are also known to hang out. Jesse and Ashleigh are finally rounded up by local police at Town Hall. Jesse refuses to go home with her mother, and would prefer to go into foster care. But a better solution is suggested by Jesses mum’s friend who offers for Jesse to go and live with her which she does. Lamberto Botarel: NSW (Found) Lamberto Botarel is 85. He’s an Italian immigrant and lives on his own. He is reported missing by his cousin who is his only relative in Australia. Police meet one of his neighbours who tells them he broke his leg and was taken off to hospital. Police track him down quickly at a nursing home where he is recovering from his broken leg. They contact his relative on the phone to tell him they have found him.
