- Movie adaptation of popular author Nora Roberts’ New York Times best-seller
- John Corbett and Diane Ladd star

JOHN CORBETT (“Sex and the City”), ASHLEY WILLIAMS, CHARLOTTE ROSS (“NYPD Blue”) and Golden Globe® Award-winning actress Diane Ladd (“Alice”) star in NORA ROBERTS’ MONTANA SKY, based on the popular author’s New York Times best-seller. The film focuses on three half sisters who meet for the first time when their father dies. MONTANA SKY is the second in a series of four Nora Roberts books adapted as event movies. Roberts was the 7th highest selling author in Australia in 2007.

In MONTANA SKY, multi-millionaire cattleman Jack Mercy dies, leaving a will requiring his three daughters – half sisters and strangers to one another – to spend 12 months together on his ranch in order to claim their inheritance.

When they meet, the women – cowgirl rancher Willa (Williams), sexy Hollywood writer Tess (Ross) and the introverted wallflower Lily (Laura Mennell) – act more like adversaries than sisters. But when it turns out their father may have left some enemies behind determined to sabotage them, the women must learn to work together or lose the money.

John Corbett portrays Ben, the neighboring rancher charged with overseeing the operation of the ranch when Jack Mercy dies.

PLEASE NOTE: Screening in Sydney only

hi,

this is annoying. why the heck advertise a movie on tv if it's only going to be shown in one city in the entire of australia? i've been waiting for this movie all week, only to turn it on to find the football on instead. and hey, i like football as much as the next person, but this movie is adapted from one of my top 5 books, and i'd appreciate knowing! that it was only going to be aired in a single city. i hope channel 7 plans to air it again so the rest of the country can watch it.
