Ziva's got some man trouble. Andy Hoffman may be gorgeous, charming and spontaneous, but he is also a serial killer.

Ziva picks Hoffman up at a bar as part of an undercover assignment and it's not long before she is caught in a precarious situation with her life at stake. Her quick instincts save her life, leaving Ziva alive but emotionally troubled.

In order to try and come to terms with her actions, Ziva returns to the bar where she met Hoffman and drowns her sorrow. In the bar, she meets another patron, Michael Locke, who despite being charming is also looking for his ex-girlfriend, who has been missing for three weeks. Could she be another of Hoffman's victims?

Agent Di Nozzo isn't so sure that Hoffman was working alone on his murders – a theory that is backed up by Abbey’s, who discovers an extra, unidentified finger print and blood stains on the knife used in the murders. In fact, Agent Di Nozzo believes that Locke could be the second killer, a statement that Ziva refutes – why is Ziva so protective of Locke? What is she hiding?

Either way, there is one dead serial killer, one potentially still alive and two suspects, one of which is a detective who has been working on Hoffman's case who had a very close relationship with one of the victims. Ziva may have to divulge her secret before this case can move forward.
