Paul's finally woken from his coma. While Karl reas- sures his family that they have to have patience in Paul's recovery, the pressure mounts. Andrew's unable to deal with seeing his father helpless. When Andrew discovers Diana Marshall's been bailed, he tells Paul the truth about why he's in hospital and pleads with him to talk and name the culprit. Will Andrew's words be what Paul needs?

6.30pm THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 on Ten

Libby pushes for an explanation from Lucas and brings out a shock confession. Will Libby get past her hurt and betrayal to be a much needed friend for Lucas? Meanwhile, Steph struggles to put her past behind her as she stops looking for distractions and finally packs up the Nursery.

6.30pm TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 on Ten

Despite Lyn's efforts to talk her out of it, Steph remains adamant she's done the best thing for the baby. Frustrated and upset, Lyn takes her anger out on the Kennedys, blaming them for Steph's deci- sion. Shaken by Lyn's outburst, guilty Karl and Susan debate how to break the baby news to Libby. After facing off with Libby, is Steph privately questioning whether she's done the right thing?

6.30pm MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 on Ten

Toadie races to the country to meet with Steph - and see the baby he's invested nine months of his life in. Steph still plans to give the baby away, but Toadie believes it's the biggest mistake she'll ever make. With the clock ticking, will Toadie convince Steph to do what he thinks is right, or will Steph follow her heart? And is there more to Steph's decision than meets the eye?

6.30pm THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 on Ten

Kate and Declan clash when he objects to her consider- ing Kyle as a housemate. However, when Declan's stuck without a babysitter for India, he's forced to call on her for help. She's torn, but agrees. Despite her reserva- tions, looking after India goes well and when Declan returns, he and Kate find themselves rekindling their romance.

6.30pm WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 on Ten

While Andrew focuses his renewed investigation on Diana, Summer and Natasha compete to be the friend who offers him greatest support. Together the teens follow Diana, who meets with a mysterious man. Natasha puts herself in danger to try and find out more about the man, but will their efforts get them any closer to discovering who pushed Paul?

6.30pm TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 on Ten

Andrew is rocked when he discovers Paul was cheating and outraged to find out both Declan and Rebecca knew, but didn't tell him. Rebecca encourages him not to hate Paul but he lashes out at her. Declan de- fends his mother and a fight breaks out. When tempers have cooled, Declan tells Andrew the full truth about Paul. Fearing he doesn't know his father at all, Andrew considers giving up his search for Paul's assailant.

6.30pm MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 on Ten

Suspecting Declan's behind Paul's attack, Andrew confronts him, but Declan claims he's innocent. Frustrated, Andrew turns his attention to those they haven't investigated - focusing on Sonya. His despera- tion mounts when he realises he's being watched by the Police. When Lyn reveals to Summer that Sonya turned on Paul on the night he was pushed and that she doesn't have an alibi, Andrew calls on Declan's help, discovering Sonya has a criminal record...

6.30pm FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 on Ten

Just as Toadie is beginning to chill out, Andrew swings Toadie back into stress. How can he pos- sibly take time off when the whole street is in crisis? Toadie's stress is heightened when he turns his phone back on to realise he's missed an important call from Steph asking him to call her back. She has some startling news!

6.30pm WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 on Ten

The Police want to know who tried to kill Paul Robinson and Declan finds himself the prime suspect. Meanwhile, Summer is haunted by the thought that Andrew may have been responsible. His violent temper does nothing to assuage these fears. Will she betray her friend and tell the Police?

Free-to-air networks could be able to include Australian content from their digital multichannels in local content quotas, if a Julia Gillard-led Labor government is re-elected.

There is expectation by producers and broadcasters in the television industry that the communications minister, Senator Stephen Conroy, could permit a concession “within months”.

If such an announcement were made, it would allow Australian drama, children’s or documentary content on digital multichannels to count towards content quotas, currently restricted to the primary channels.

Despite the unknown election result, there is a growing consensus on both sides of politics that broadcasters should have more concessions to promote the adoption of digital television before the analogue switch-off in 2013.

“There’s been a relentless lobby in Canberra,” one major producer confirmed.

Diana's information prompts Detective Bren- nan to re-interview Rebecca. Determined to protect his Mum, Declan approaches Kate for help - Rebecca needs an alibi. Kate's faced with an awful dilemma: lie to the Po- lice or leave Rebecca in the lurch?

6.30pm MONDAY, AUGUST 29 on Ten

Paul's life hangs in the balance, as the shockwaves spread through the community. The doctors fight to save his life, Rebecca, Declan and Andrew each wrestle with their own private demons while Diana tries to flee the country. The Police announce they are starting a criminal investigation, and the pressure causes tension in Paul's family.

With the news of Ten’s new channel Eleven launching in early 2011, comes confirmation of Ten’s plans to revamp their early evening schedule. Both Simpsons and Neighbours will move over to Eleven in 2011, with Neighbours remaining in its traditional 6.30pm timesloton Eleven.

On Ten, at 6pm, following the first at Five news hour, will be a half hour national new bulletin targeting viewers seeking a smarter, more informed, considered and insightful approach to the stories, issues, events and news makers of the day.

Following at 6.30pm weeknights and 6pm weekends, Ten will present a half hour locally presented and produced news service in all markets, focussing on the key issues in each state, whilst continuing to break news and further develop the leading national and international events of the day.

Ten’s successful first at Five News remains daily, while the 7PM Project will continue to be seen at 7pm weeknights.

Neighbours has a hot new home!

From launch in early 2011, Network Ten’s new digital multi-channel ELEVEN will be the unrivalled destination for fun and bold programming with particular appeal to the ‘distinctly youthful’ market.

Neighbours will be the leading Australian series on ELEVEN, in prime time.

Network Ten chief programming officer David Mott said: “Neighbours is an important and cherished member of the Network Ten family.”

“We believe Neighbours is perfectly suited to ELEVEN’s audience strategy and will find a successful and enduring home on ELEVEN. We will round out the first 25 years with a bang, and give Australia’s most successful drama a new home to keep it vibrant in the schedule for the next 25,” Mr Mott said.
