Neighbours: With Declan's Support, Will Kate Triumph?

Kate is rocked by the news that Lou is not coming home anytime soon. Once again, the Ramsay kids are left without a guardian. Kate is urged to reconsider applying by Declan and Sophie. She realises she needs to secure a well-paying dancing gig, to improve her chances of being chosen.

She auditions for a professional troupe, and is thrilled to win her first gig. But at rehearsal the jealous lead dancer, Candace, rattles her. With Declan’s support, will Kate stick to her guns and keep the job?

Neighbours: Scheming Lyn Undermines Rebecca's Marriage

Determined to continue engaging Paul in competitive games, Lyn decides to host a singles cooking class at Harold’s – on the same day and the same time, as Rebecca’s next mixology class. Rebecca, tired of battling Lyn, takes the high road and ignores her and asks Paul to do likewise. But Lyn baits Paul, and wagers her event will be more popular. Paul can’t resist and, without telling Rebecca, accepts Lyn’s bet, certain he will win.

On a high after his night with Donna, Andrew is brought sharply down to earth when Rebecca and Paul send him off to his first day at Erinsborough High. As Declan goes to work at Lassiters, Andrew feels usurped as Paul’s number-one son. He attempts to undermine Declan by sabotaging a wedding Declan’s running at the hotel. And then turns his attention to Kate.

Struggling to keep thoughts of Andrew out of her head, Donna is left disappointed when Ringo chooses to attend his university orientation evening instead of helping her with her Shrugolero business. Sensing his opportunity, Andrew tries to put a deliberate wedge between them by suggesting that Donna is headed for great things and Ringo is just going to hold her back. Donna is rattled. Could Andrew be right?

However Andrew promises to forget it all if she’ll go on a date with him. Backed into a corner, Donna agrees but on their date she finds herself reluctantly charmed by Andrew. As they return home, Donna’s even tempted to kiss him – will she give in to this dangerous passion?

Andrew is eager to win Paul’s approval when he is put to work at Lassiters to pay off his debt. He soon finds he is unimpressed by the less glamorous side of the hotel business and resents having to take orders from Declan, Paul’s ‘other son’.

Neighbours Catch Up on Ten, Two and a Half Men Coming Back to 7pm Weeknights on Nine

If you missed out on any or all of the episodes of Neighbours this week, or simply didn't realise the show was back already, then Ten have an afternoon of ccatch ups just for you!

All five Neighbours episodes this week will be repeated from 2.30pm Saturday afternoon. That means, whatever the TV guide says fro Saturday afternoon on Ten, is out the window.

Ten will do the same next week with another Neighbours catch up at 2.30pm Sat Jan 23.

NINE will, as of Monday Jan 18, become the Two and a Half Men network again with Charlie Sheen's popular shitcom returning to its 7pm weeknight timeslot, replacing the daily Funniest Home Video Show.

Two and a Half Men will start from season 1, epsiode 1 - the pilot. So if you have not already seen them already, here's your chance to start from the start. The 7pm episodes are on top of those scheduled from Sunday 7.30 and Monday 7.30.

Here are the dates that some shows and events will be starting in coming weeks.

Monday Jan 11th
Ten, 6.30pm. The return of Neighbours for its 25th year. Neighbours originally aired on Seven in 1985. Seven sold it to Ten, Ten aired Neighbours from 1986 and made a huge international success out of the show.

Wednesday Jan 13th
FOX8, 7.30pm. American Idol returns for season 9, 2010, hours after its premiere in the US. The first few weeks highlight the audition rounds. American Idol then continues on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
