Newly minted roommates Hank and Charlie have moved in together and vowed to get over their respective relationship woes by spicing up their lives. Charlie is determined to be in fighting shape as he is now a single man and convinces Hank to join him at the gym.

Dani (Rachel Miner) reminds Charlie that he has a meeting with Mia but Charlie blows it off. He also scoffs at Dani's mention that she wants to be an agent; however Dani has the upper hand when she threatens to go to Human Resources with stories of their sordid past if he doesn't take her seriously.

At the gym, Hank and Charlie meet a girl, Laura (Laura Niles), who remembers Hank from a previous encounter. She seems pretty upset about their last meeting, but Hank can’t remember her. So she beats him up.

Dani takes the meeting with Mia and is impressed by the fact that she is only sixteen and has written a novel. Dani offers to help Mia get published which Mia obviously agrees to. But Mia is hiding a dirty little secret about her supposed self-written manuscript…

At a bar, Hank and Charlie reminisce about the good old days but are interrupted by a phone call from Laura asking them to meet her at Hank’s. On their way out, they have a less than pleasant run-in with Karen and Marcy (Pamela Adlon).

Charlie persuades Hank to have a threesome with him and Laura, as that is the only way he’ll get to be with her. Hank obliges, but during the threesome, Hank suddenly remembers Laura and why he never called her back… Meanwhile, Karen and Marcy have decided to make amends with Hank and Charlie and pay a visit to them at Hank's apartment. But they get more than they bargained for when they walk in on the men tangled up in their threesome. It's not the best way for the boys to win their ladies back…
