Two members of a supposed charity aid fund, Pakistani International Fund (PIF), are abducted, tortured and murdered. The FBI believe that the PIF is a cover for an extremist cell with terrorist inclinations and based on these conclusions, begin an in-depth investigation in to the fund, in order to attempt to track down the kidnappers and the ultimate motive of the PIF.

Charlie becomes embroiled in the case when Phil Sanjrani, one of his biologist colleagues, is arrested for being a member of the PIF and potentially providing information of a terrorist nature to foreign extremists. Charlie’s methods of logic and deduction clear Phil from any involvement in terrorist activity and the murders, but Don and his FBI team disagree and soon Charlie is at loggerheads with them in order to prove Phil’s innocence.

A rap-label's promotion party is the scene of a crime when the most popular artist on the label, Hunter, is gunned down and murdered when leaving the party. As the FBI are already investigating a case against the record label for drug distribution, Liz Warner is at the scene and invites Don and his unit to snoop around.

A rival record artist who crashed the party and seems to have a vendetta against Hunter is the likely suspect. When Warner and Sinclair pay the gatecrasher a visit to question him, they are surprised to discover the murdered rapper's wife is also there. The team discover that both men were known to each other however their questioning is interrupted when bullets blaze through the windows and seriously injure the crasher. Has a killer been dispatched to stop the unit before they discover too much?

As Robin and Don play golf, a group of people at a church - which the government has classified as a dangerous Cult – begin falling deathly ill in the middle of a sermon.

When the LAPD, EMT's and finally the FBI arrive, angry church members guard the gate and try and keep them out, crying religious freedom. The LAPD tells Don it looks like a mass poisoning but says they can't go in without force because of the woman at the gate waving legal paperwork, adding they need some kind of OK before forcing their way in. When Don finds out the tip to the police about the problem came from inside the building, he cuts the lock and goes in.

Through the investigation, they find that the previous leader of the church died and they begin to suspect something other than the normal heart attack and exhume the body, eventually turning to the man's daughter for an explanation.

Don's old flame Robin Brooks returns to California to prosecute incarcerated criminal kingpin Jarobi "JLight" Taylor.

Don and his team get involved in the case when three key witnesses are murdered, and it's discovered that Robin is the next victim.

With all of the "lucky breaks" J-Light is getting, everyone is sure he's still running his operation from jail, but no one can figure out how. The only person to visit J-Light regularly is a troubled teen and chess prodigy, who goes by the name Bishop.

However, Bishop is insistent that J-Light is simply teaching him chess lessons during their meetings, and dislikes how the FBI is trying to take down the only person who has ever cared about him.

Charlie goes to FBI Boot Camp, and it seems he’ll be the predictable Charlie, cautious of his abilities at first, but in the end he is successful in his training. What will this training do for his relationship with Don?

Meanwhile, Don becomes involved with a protected witness which complicates the case he is working on and as he leaves her house and intruder tries to take her life.

IN THE FIRST POSTWRITERS STRIKE EPISODE, DON'S INTUIITON IS PUT TO THE TEST WHEN HE ARRESTS AN INNOCENT BYSTANDER AND SUBSEQUENTLY EXPOSES AN UNDERGROUND INSURGENT OPERATION.

Don and the team take down an inner-city meth lab, but it's Don's clever use of his FBI instincts that leads to the arrest of a bystander who has a far greater involvement in the scheme than anyone could have predicted.

Meanwhile, Megan is having doubts about whether she's in the right job and Alan is making some environmentally friendly changes at home.

TRIVIA: The term 'Black Swan' relates to an unexpected or unprecedented event. It is a metaphor born out of the once popular belief that there was no such thing as a black swan, when in actuality, blacks swans do exist although in minority.

Don and his team work to track down a serial rapist who is using his position as a police officer to lure his victims and commit unspeakable crimes.

Meanwhile, Larry asks Amita to work with him on a new research project.

into the FBI headquarters and shoots an FBI
agent before taking Agent Sinclair hostage in a
closed elevator.
The tension inside the elevator is extreme as Blakey and Sinclair continue to point their guns at each other, waiting for their opponent to crack.
Blakey reveals to Sinclair he was being stalked by his former employer, the FBI agent he shot in the lobby.
He hasn’t slept for days and is utterly exhausted by his paranoia which puts him in an erratic state, making it all the more difficult for Agent Sinclair to negotiate his own safety.
Meanwhile, in the office, no-one is taking Charlie’s theories of negotiation seriously, and Don is distracted

A comic book convention becomes a crime scene when two
robbers steal an extremely rare comic, and shoot a security
guard and bystander in the process.
When the cops arrive, Seth, a comic book enthusiast, tells them
he has doubts about the authenticity of the stolen copy as the
owner, Myles Skylar, never had it valued.
Then, rumours circulate that the comic book has been bought
on the black market for $50,000, but as the cops look around the convention, they discover there's approximately

abducted from a nightclub during an organised and
well executed shoot out,
Miraculously no one was hurt which certainly supports
the theory that the kidnappers certainly knew
what they were doing. Charlie decides to conduct
a 'Tabu' search, similar to a process of elimination.
By eliminating the places the kidnappers won't frequent, he can predict where they will turn up next.
Then, the cops find a video in the kidnappers abandoned van which depicts Ella being held at knifepoint, and a
man from the People's Nationalist Agenda demanding money from Ella's father, a wealthy businessman, who
they believe is exploiting his workers.
Ella's father has offered her bodyguards in the past, but she has always refused. When he receives a call from

When a man plunges to his death from a
rooftop, Don and his team enter the world
of an alternate reality game known as
'primacy'.
When Charlie and Amita arrive at the
crime scene, Amita provides some great
insight into the primacy phenomenon as

Amita quickly notices some trinkets at the
crime scene that have been left behind by
