A woman in the Witness Protection Program is gunned down inside her home 10 minutes after Don drops her home from their date.

She's the first person in the Witness Protection Program to be murdered in 37 years, and although Don didn't bring the gun into her home, he certainly feels like he led the gun man to her doorstep.

While Don's judgment becomes clouded by his personal investment in the case, Charlie becomes suspicious about Don's closed file.

As Larry points out to Charlie, perhaps it's not what's in the file, but what's missing from the file that holds the key to solving the crime.

Meanwhile, Charlie is gearing up for this first book signing for his new book titled 'the attraction equation'.
