1. My Kitchen Rules encore on 7TWO.

The weekly Sunday morning My Kitchen Rules encore is confirmed again for this Sunday, April 10 from 8.30am. All three episodes this week play out in a row.

2. Missing programming from the week commencing April 17 on Seven confirmed.

A repeat of Bones (S4E20) will air on Monday April 18, at 8.30pm. Tuesday at 7.30, is a repeat of the special “Unlikely Animal Friends” – the story about how two animals who don’t normally socialise with each other come together to help each other out.

On Wednesday April 20, at 7.30pm – a new (to free to air) episode of Air Crash Investigations covering Flight 007 which crashes into the sea, after being shot down by Soviet officials after a very bad case of mistaken identity.

3. The Million Dollar Drop on Thursday again.

For the fourth week in a row now, The Million Dollar Drop will again air on Thursday night. Next Thursday, April 14, the show replaced new CSI at 8.30pm. With Easter non-ratings the following week, no new episodes of CSI will air until May, or even later.

The Thursday episodes of Million Dollar Drop are rating better than those on Monday. After next Thursday, 8 of the 12 episodes made will have aired, 7 in Melbourne who have not seen episode 5.

In a rare example of foresight, Hamish and Andy have announced that they’ve “kind of, pretty much” decided what they want to do with the extra time they have in 2011 – they are going on a gap year to America.

However, Hamish and Andy remembered that they told Channel Nine they would do a TV show this year as well, so while continuing their weekly radio show for Austereo’s Today Network, they’ll now attempt to combine their dream gap year with a TV series.

The intrepid adventurers will set off in the second half of the year, setting up shop in New York to do a weekly show for Australia: Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year.

Hamish explained: “Tragically, we never took a gap year after school, instead devoting ourselves to a gruelling six hours a week of university.” Andy added: “This year will be a chance to right that terrible wrong and at the same time enjoy our other passion: making television. America also serves soft drink in really huge cups, so Hame can’t wait.”

Hamish said: “The whole point of this gap year is to see where the journey will take us, who we might meet, and what might happen. Sort of like a choose-your-own-adventure book, but hopefully with fewer dragons.  Actually on second thought, finding a dragon would be terrific. We should look into that.”

As well as actually booking flights, Andy is concerned that there are still some big things to organise. “I haven’t got mum and dad’s permission yet, and Hamish needs to assure his mum he’s responsible enough to borrow her flesh-coloured money belt.”

Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year will go to air on the Nine Network later this year.

On Sunday nights on ELEVEN, at 7.30pm from April 17, America’s Next Top model fills the timeslot about to be vacated by New Zealand’s Next Top Model after its April 10 finale. It starts with cycle 7 – which aired on FOX8 a few years ago.

On Mondays April 18, Supernatural continues into its 6th season with new episodes. On Saturday April 30, at 10.30pm, 90210 reaches new episodes never before screened in Australia.

Other shows continuing with new episodes on ELEVEN include: Neighbours, Smallville, Raising Hope, The Office, Nurse Jackie, The Cleveland Show, Stargate Universe (new to ELEVEN) and So You Think You Can Dance USA.

As they did last year, 7TWO will again air the complete documentary series called ANZAC non-stop on ANZAC day, Monday April 25, from 3.30am until 6pm – an outstanding documentary series following the fortunes of Australian and New Zealand forces though World War 2.

New to 7TWO at 9.40pm, Monday April 25, is the Gil Mayo Mysteries. This, the first episode sees Mayo investigating the murder of Simon Johnston, a young “trustafarian” being treated for cocaine addiction at the exclusive Rossi Rehabilitation Clinic.

7TWO Thursday movies for April 28 are The Prince & Me at 7.30pm, and The Wedding Dress at 9.45pm.

Royal Wedding Day – April 29 is mostly regular programming for 7TWO in Sydney and Brisbane. 6pm is slated as a Royal Wedding related news special. Bargain Hunt at 6.30, then The World Around Us at 7.30. Escape To The Country at 8.30 and 60 Minute Makeover at 9.30pm.

In Perth, they have Bargain Hunt at 6pm, On The Buses from 7pm, TBA (probably will be The World Around us) at 8pm and Escape To The Country at 9pm and 60 Minute Makeover at 10pm.

In Melbourne and Adelaide, the Royal Wedding airs live on 7TWO from 6pm, finishing at 11pm in Melbourne and 10.30pm in Adelaide.

The split market programming will mean Melbourne and Adelaide will be an episode behind Sydney, Brisbane and Perth for Escape To The Country and 60 Minute Makeover.

In all markets, the 7TWO Late Movie for the night is the same – Return of the Seven – starting at 10.30pm except for Melbourne & Perth, where is starts at 11pm.

Regional 7TWO’s will follow the market from which the feed is taken from. For example – NSW will follow Sydney programming, Victoria Melbourne, WA Perth, etc. Tasmania and Darwin check closer to the date.

Tuesday April 26.

No changes to programming

Wednesday April 27.

The Amazing Race continues at 7.30pm, Gene Simmons Family Jewels at 8.30. [updated] Bullet Proof is the Wednesday night 7mate movie, at 9.30pm.

Thursday April 28.

7.30 is TBA at this stage. New (to free to air) Man made Marvels continues at 8.30, looking at Singapore’s Changi Airport. 9.30 is a special called The Blasters, which deals the world of demolition blasting and the people in that business.

Friday April 29.

The combination of The Royal Wedding and Friday night AFL interferes with 7mate’s regular Friday night programming.

For Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, its regular programming with American Dad at 7.30pm, new episodes of The Cape and The Event at 8.30 & 9.30 respectively and Caprica at 10.30pm.

In Sydney and Brisbane, LIVE AFL from 7.30 with Sydney Vs Carlton. Caprica follows at around 10.45pm.

The spilt programming means that Sydney and Brisbane will now be a week behind Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth for The Cape and The Event.

Saturday April 30.

At 6.30, Engineering Disasters looks at engineering disasters of the 70’s. 7.30 is Air Crash Investigation, while 8.30 is the series premiere of Unsolved Mysteries. New The Universe follows at 9.30, talking about Cosmic Phenomena.

In the week commencing Easter Sunday – April 24 – and the second week of Easter non-ratings, there will be an AFL game on Tuesday, the Royal Wedding on the Friday and a mixed bag of new shows and repeats.

Here’s the summary – based mostly on programming information for Sydney.

Sunday April 24 – Easter Sunday.

6.30pm Sunday Night remains. Border Security at 7.30 is a repeat, as is The Force at 8pm, Bones at 8.30, Castle at 9.30 and Beyond the Darklands at 10.30pm.

Monday April 25 – ANZAC Day / Easter Monday.

At 7.30pm is an ANZAC day special: The Lost Diggers of Fromelles which looks at the Battle of Fromelles, July 19, 1916 – the worst 24 hours in Australian military history with over 5,000 Australian casualties. A Bones repeat airs at 8.30pm, then new Brothers and Sisters at 9.30.

At 10.30pm is a special: The Spitfire and the Lancaster – a tribute to these two famous WWII aircraft.

Tuesday April 26 – The public holiday in lieu of ANZAC Day and Easter Monday falling on the same day.

At 2.30pm – AFL on Tuesday to wrap up a FIVE day long weekend. Hawthorn Vs Geelong.

Prime time from 7.30 – 10.45 though is completely TBA. Looks like a week off for Winners & Losers and Parenthood. 7.30 will most likley be a William & Kate Special.

Wednesday April 27.

Double Home & Away at 7pm (updated), this is to make up for the fact that it will not air on Friday due to Royal Wedding coverage. 8pm is TBA, 8.30 is Criminal Minds rpt, and Detroit 1-8-7 continues at 9.30pm.

Thursday April 28.

Better Homes & Gardens also moves days to clear the schedule for the Royal Wedding on Friday April 29. It’s on at 7.30. New episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice and 30 Rock follow.

Friday April 29.

The day of the Royal Wedding.

A complicated night for programming as there is also Friday night AFL: Sydney Vs Carlton. Seven will be making full use of their digital channels on the night.

Melbourne: AFL is LIVE on Seven from 7.30. The Royal Wedding coverage will be live on 7TWO from 6pm-11pm. A one hour Wedding special will air on Seven, following the AFL. Regular programming on 7mate.

Sydney & Brisbane: AFL is live on 7mate from 7.30pm. Regular programming on 7TWO. Royal Wedding on Seven from 6.30 – 11.00pm. This means that 7mate Sydney and Brisbane will fall one week behind with The Cape and The Event.

Adelaide & Perth: I do not yet have the full details. But based on 7TWO & 7mate programming, it looks like Adelaide will follow Melbourne with AFL live on Seven from 7pm, and the Royal Wedding on 7TWO while Perth will have the Wedding and AFL on Seven as both 7mate and 7TWO programming in Perth remains as per usual.

Closer to April 29, we will post a full summary of all Royal Wedding Programming including where all the Friday night football ends up.

It will be a week of ‘royal engagements’ on Channel Seven as Australia gets ready to tune in and celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Seven promises to have the ultimate Royal coverage, with Seven News, Today Tonight, Sunrise, The Morning Show and Sunday Night all in London for the week leading up to the big day, on Friday April 29.

Seven will also screen the prime time special “William and Kate:  Inside The Royal Wedding”.

The exclusive one-hour special  will give inside information on the wedding dress, the style, the food, the celebrity invites and what the couple are really like behind closed doors, featuring interviews with Elizabeth Emmanuel (designer of Princess Diana’s wedding dress), Claudia Joseph (Kate Middleton’s biographer), Ken Wharf (Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ personal bodyguard) and David Macarfrae (Royal cake maker). Screening date for this special will be announced soon.

On the wedding day, Chris Bath and Matt White will take their position outside Buckingham Palace as they anchor Seven’s live presentation, from 4pm. Backed by affiliate ITN’s coverage, Seven will bring viewers a front row seat to the wedding day, from the arrival of wedding guests to the ceremony and vows between Prince William and Kate. Cameras will then follow the newlyweds as they head back to Buckingham Palace for their first official outing as husband and wife.

Seven News reporters Chris Reason, Angela Cox and Adrian Brown will be on the ground, outside Westminster Abbey, at various street parties around London and in Kate’s hometown of Bucklebury.

From Monday April 25, Seven News’ Chris Bath will be on the spot, as she presents Seven News from London, followed at 6.30pm by Matt White on Today Tonight.

Melissa Doyle and David Koch will be on Royal watch each morning, as Sunrise is beamed from Buckingham Palace.  Nuala Hafner and Monique Wright will report on all the festivities happening in and around London, while former press secretary to the Queen, Dickie Arbiter, will provide exclusive insight.

Kylie Gillies will then take over as The Morning Show comes to Seven each day from the banks of the Thames.

Sunday Night will capture the week’s wedding fever hosted by Chris Bath and with reporter Rhani Sadler on the ground, with a special Royal episode on April 24, with a wrap up of the wedding on the May 1 edition.

Yahoo!7 News will cover the event live online with news, latest photos, opinions and twitter updates. Full coverage can be found at www.yahoo7.com.au/royalwedding

In an exclusive interview on Sunday Night, Tony and Susan Duthie speak out for the first time, solving many of the mysteries surrounding the AFL scandal and their 17 year-old daughter, Kimberley.

They tell Rahni Sadler that Kim was “perfect” until she met two players from the St Kilda football team last year. They say their daughter was well behaved at home, excelling at school and was a dedicated athlete competing at world championship level. It all fell apart, they claim, when at 16 she became obsessed with the two footballers. They describe their shame at her behaviour and shock at the lies she told. They now live with daily death threats.

As Ricky Nixon’s life continues to unravel there are new clues as to how this AFL powerhouse came undone. Yesterday the AFL refused to lift a two-year ban on Nixon, imposed after he admitted to inappropriate dealings with the school girl at the centre of the AFL nude photo scandal.

Now on Sunday Night, the teenager details her extraordinary plot to trap Nixon by luring him to her hotel room. So what really happened?  At her suggestion, and with her parents’ consent, Duthie sits a lie detector test… carried out by Australia’s leading polygraph expert.

The results were definitive, one person’s story was found to be true, with 98% accuracy. Was it Duthie’s or Nixon’s?

Channel 7 will show the Round 6 Sydney vs Carlton clash live into Melbourne from 7.30pm.

The Royal wedding will be broadcast on 7TWO in Melbourne with a one-hour wrap on the wedding on Channel 7 after the football.

Seven Sport brings Melbourne viewers all the action LIVE from the SCG with host Bruce McAvaney, and expert commentary from Dennis Cometti, Leigh Matthews, Tom Harley and Tim Watson.

Channel 7 will deliver the ultimate Royal coverage, as the country tunes in to watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, on Friday April 29.

From 4pm, Chris Bath and Matt White will anchor Seven’s live presentation, from Buckingham Palace.

From Monday April 25, Seven News’ 6pm bulletin – with Peter Mitchell – will be on the spot for all Royal wedding updates in the lead up to the big day. At 6.30pm, Matt White will present Today Tonight from London.

On May 1, Sunday Night will capture the week’s wedding fever, with reporter Rhani Sadler on the ground.
