SNEAK PEAK – Wednesday, August 6 at 8pm on Channel Nine
It's the new game show craze taking over the world, Hole in the Wall, set to bring fun, colour and laughs to Australian audiences when Nine presents a special sneak peak episode on Wednesday, August 6 at 8pm.
Hosted by Jules Lund, Hole in the Wall features a large polystyrene wall (4mx 2.3m) that travels along a 15m straight path at contestants who are challenged to make a shape which is cut into the wall and attempt to manoeuvre their bodies through it.
If they can't make the shape and the wall hits them they are pushed into a 1.5m plunge pool. The contestants have between 3.5 and 7 seconds to read the shape and contort their bodies to fit through the hole. If successful they score points for their team and the overall wining team will receive cash for their chosen charity.
Each episode has two teams of three people. The walls vary between individual shapes and team shapes, which allow two or all three teams members try to pass through the wall at once.
It will be rough and tumble in the sneak peak episode as three gorgeous women take on some burly, bawdy men in a clash between the Beauties versus Beasts.
Donning the spandex competition suit and facing the wall for the beauties will be Kelly Landry (Getaway), Brodie Harper (Postcards Victoria), and Totti Goldsmith (actor/singer). For the beasts, Scott Cam (Domestic Blitz), Mark "Jacko" Jackson (media personality) and Tim Smith (radio announcer).
Hole in the Wall is an international success story which has seen the Fox network in North America commission 26 episodes based on the attraction of the UK pilot.
It is currently being shown in France, Italy, Denmark, Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, China, Argentina, Russia and a number of other countries.

The lifeguards? What about Jules?? I'm sorry, but I'd rather be pulled out of the water by him! The show is hilarious, the camel toes even funnier and I say thumbs up for anyone that has a go...it looks like so much fun.

I agree with the other guys. That Alana life guard is stunning! One of the hottest chicks on TV right now, and surely the only reason most viewers (including me) tune in at all. Let's cross our fingers and hope that she does a shoot for Zoo sometime soon.

Whats up with you people? Yes, the Japanese Ver. is better but give the Aussie Ver. a break. Its not that bad. nicole are you weird? It was like you were talking about someone who had killed your kids. Its not that bad, I enjoy watching it. Jules is a good host and you have been complaining about his remarks. Listen to yourselves. You's are making bad remarks against him. Anyway top show.

wall comes too fast, foam is way too fragile, less ground space to prepare, host talks too much + too much replay.
yes, i prefer the japanese ver.

i agree the aussie version cant compete with the japanese original. i watched the japanese one way before the aussie one came out and it's actually called 'Human tetris' in the original oppose to the lame name of 'Hole in the wall' lol

Yeah I fully agree with the previous comments, the Japanese one is way better. Not only is it hilarious because as an Aussie, you hear a Japanese going off his head at a 100 words per second while he's trying to calm down enough to get through a piece of styrofoam boarding - and it cracks you up - but also it's got a lot more game modes and easier for the contestants. As in, they do an equal amount of 1 person walls as much as 2 and 3 person walls, and plus it doesn't require you to make the shape, just as long as you get through. I also don't like how you only get like one wall from both teams and then they're straight into an ad break, that really buggers it up more. YouTube it sometime, well, "Japanese Game Shows", and they'll pop up. Gonna have to side with the Japanese on this one

the 1st thing i have to say is that thank god my kids were in bed asleep.... what the hell are they thinking. putting those outfits on those people. dont they have lighting or a mirror!!!
not only did we get to unfortunately get to see everything of the boys, but once they were wet we got to see how many hairs they had!!!!! it was absolutly disgusting!! not only was the actually visual side of things bad, then we had to lissen to rude and smutty remarks made by "jules". I am not impressed with the degrading remarks and for gods sake get them clothed properly!!!!!

I was looking forward to watching the program last night, the much advertised, "smash hit from Japan" when after a couple of minutes Jules Lund mentioned that this show is so easy a monkey could do it and I believe it was invented by one....
My wife is Japanese...While I think that Jules probably didn't know any better I just cannot believe that this could get by the editors at Channel 9.
This is one show I will not be watching.

'Hole in the Wall' didn't just run in Japan as the blog states. The original show IS Japanese and it originated from Fuji TV. The Japanese version is still the best.

it would be great if anyone could give me any details for what makeup brands do they use in this program. I just watched this program tonight, as my housemate was watching it. Their makeup still looked amazing even after they got up from the pool and were all wet.
