With warm weather just around the corner, WHAT’S GOOD FOR YOU returns with a one-hour Spring special this Sunday, August 24 at 6.30pm on Channel Nine.

Nature celebrates the onset of the warmer months by blossoming and blooming, and WHAT’S GOOD FOR YOU host Lisa Wilkinson will have a range of handy Spring tips to benefit mind, body, home and bank balance.

In this special, Dr Andrew Rochford tackles the number one Spring ailment, hay fever, looking at the triggers and the various ways of treating this nagging, incurable complaint. Dr Andrew will also explore the good and bad ways to tone up for Summer as we become a little more body-conscious on the beach.

Domestic queen Shelley Craft will look at a classic Spring colour mistake that people make when home decorating: too bold and too bright. She’ll give viewers tips on how to use colour cleverly and creatively, without going over the top, taking in the advice of a colour therapist.

Landscaper Melissa King takes care of the outdoors with a tough experiment for a dedicated gardener: unearthing what’s good for your yard. She creates a garden that won’t die off in the scorching Aussie sun.

Spring is also a great time to get your finances in order and the “Barefoot Investor”, Scott Pape, will put you on track for saving money. He goes through a young family’s finances and spending patterns, guaranteeing to find the extra dollars they need to last out the summer holidays. The result is a range of simple money-saving tips we can all follow that guarantee substantial savings on the family budget.

Meanwhile, with the rising cost of fuel, the “Barefoot Investor” will also show you how to save nearly $1000 a year in petrol.
