Channel Seven Melbourne had a strong finish for week fourteen (May 25 to 31) with an All People share of 26.5 per cent and the top program of the week.
Seven's powerhouse BORDER SECURITY – AUSTRALIA'S FRONT LINE (488,000) was the most watched program of the week with an easy win over Nine's David Attenborough's Tiger – Spy In The Jungle (399,000) and Big Brother (323,000 from 7.30pm to 8pm) on Ten.
SURF PATROL (422,000) rounded out the hour in seventh spot beaching Nine's David Attenborough's Tiger – Spy In The Jungle, Ten's How To Look Good Naked (316,000) in 53rd place and Australian Story (283,000) on the ABC.
Seven's weekend news services put in top performances with SEVEN NEWS SUNDAY (477,000) the leading news service, scooping National Nine News Sunday (453,000), while SEVEN NEWS SATURDAY (374,000) had the lead over National Nine News Saturday (354,000) and ABC News Saturday (324,000).
Gearing up to the grand final, GLADIATORS' (415,000) quarter-final pummeled Nine's Domestic Blitz (389,000).
Seven's medical drama ALL SAINTS (413,000) carved up Nine's Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (341,000) and NCIS (340,000) on Ten.
BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS (394,000) had all the answers for creature comforts both inside and outside the home with a convincing win over Nine's Motorway Patrol (272,000) and Big Brother Friday Night Live (235,000) on Ten.
SEVEN'S AFL ROUND 10: ADELAIDE V ESSENDON (387,000) dominated Friday night, out-performing Nine's movie Rumour Has It (251,000) and Ten's Mean Girls (165,000).
Despite hype surrounding the re-vamp of Nine's Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune (201,000), it failed to impact on the performance of DEAL OR NO DEAL (223,000). Nationally DEAL OR NO DEAL dominated with 870,000 viewers for the week while Nine's Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune (615,000) lagged by 255,000 viewers. In Melbourne, Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune premiered on Monday night with 220,000 viewers, to Deal or No Deal's 244,000, on Tuesday night (197,000) it dropped another 23,000 viewers and by Friday night (181,000) had shed 39,000 viewers.
Overall, Seven had a 26.5 per cent share. Nine had 28.2 per cent, Ten 20.9 per cent, ABC 18.4 per cent and SBS 5.9 per cent.
