Seven wins Monday - City Homicide Number One

Seven Melbourne claimed another Monday night victory with six of the Top Ten shows and a 5.5 point share lead. CITY HOMICIDE was again Melbourne’s most watched show.

CITY HOMICIDE was Number One, with 477,000 Melburnians switched on. It defeated Ten’s final Big Brother – Winner Announced (424,000) and Nine’s The Farmer Wants A Wife (339,000) which ranked thirteen spots behind. Nationally, CITY HOMICIDE drew a huge 1.51 million viewers.

CRIMINAL MINDS topped its timeslot with 419,000 viewers. Nine’s The F Word (236,000) and the series return of Ten’s Burn Notice (227,000) bombed out.

SEVEN NEWS (408,000) and TODAY TONIGHT (399,000) were Melbourne’s first choice for news and public affairs. Both won their timeslots – ahead of Nine’s News (404,000) and A Current Affair (371,000).

THE FORCE – BEHIND THE LINE (405,000) and BORDER SECURITY – AUSTRALIA’S FRONT LINE (395,000) were two other top performers for Seven, taking out fifth and eighth spots respectively.

Seven Melbourne won last night with a 30.3% share, defeating Nine’s 24.8%, Ten’s 22.5%, ABC’s 15.0% and SBS with 7.3%.
