Can Dave the postie deliver?

DAVE REYNOLDS from country Victoria is a postie, CFA member, likes surfing eBay and wants to become the first millionaire on 1 vs 100 when he returns to take on the mob in Channel Nine’s hit quiz show this Monday, February 19 at 8.30pm.

Dave is a likeable larrikin who has already answered three questions correctly, playing a strong game to knockout dozens of mob members in quick succession. But with questions testing his culinary, chemistry, history and television knowledge Dave will need to remain calm to build up his bank tally and knock out the rest of the hungry mob.

In episode three of 1 vs 100, 33 mob members celebrated as they carved up equal shares of $22,000. This week there’s over $70,000 up for the taking and Dave looks to be on shaky ground.

Hosted by EDDIE McGUIRE, 1 vs 100 is a classic David and Goliath clash which pits one contestant against an audience of 100 people for a chance to win big cash. Contestants need impressive general knowledge, tactical know-how and just a little luck to stay in the game.

My life's been pretty unremarkable lately, but pfft. Oh well. My mind is like a void. I haven't gotten much done.

I base these views partly on the success of a comparable approach to making models generally available in cognitive modeling (Google for "ACT-R cognitive architecture" for more details.) Good luck!

I read this as kind of boilerplate "Americans are dumb" Euro-speak.

Washington - The federal official with the power to mobilize a massive federal response to Hurricane Katrina was Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, not the former FEMA chief who was relieved of his duties and resigned earlier this week, federal documents reviewed by Knight Ridder show.
