In the legendary Sherwood Forest there's a spy in the outlaws’ camp and the swashbuckling Robin Hood is determined to expose the traitor.

Robin (Jonas Armstrong) is horrified to realise that his plan to capture the amusingly vile Sheriff of Nottingham's (Keith Allen) ally, Henry of Lewes (Matt Devere), has failed because of the traitor in his gang.

There's some relief for Robin when Henry arrives at Nottingham Castle unconscious and the vital information Henry has about the King's landing sites remains a mystery.

Robin infiltrates the castle to silence Henry once and for all, but the Sheriff recruits the aid of a harridan wise-woman, Matilda (Josie Lawrence), to help nurse Henry to health.

But when the Sheriff uncovers Matilda's link to the outlaws, her life is in peril.

The Sheriff denounces Matilda as a witch and orders her be dunked in the local pond - a death sentence for sure.

Robin must rescue her before she pays the ultimate price for aiding him - but he must also work out which member of his gang has turned traitor and is feeding information to the Sheriff's lieutenant, Sir Guy of Gisborne (Richard Armitage).
