This week on RSPCA ANIMAL RESCUE, Inspector Donna Stockton has her work cut out for her when she attends a junkyard home in Sydney.
Discovering a menagerie of mistreated animals, she returns with the police to seize, amongst others, two dogs in particularly bad condition. Suffering from neglect and mistreatment, the dogs are rehabilitated and find new homes.
Meanwhile, in Melbourne, the RSPCA is called out to see a wild goose that seems to have a problem with its foot. Inspectors Natalie Linney and Amy Benham find that the foot is caught up in something, but catching it so they can provide help turns out to be harder than expected. They call for backup and finally capture the goose and remove a cable tie from its leg.
Back in Sydney, Inspector Natalie Tasker is called out to an abandoned townhouse where a cat has been seen limping around. She finds the cat with a broken leg and takes it back to the shelter. After a vet check, it is decided that the damage to the leg is too bad and that it must be amputated.
Narrated by ANTHONY FIELD, RSPCA Animal Rescue follows inspectors and staff of the RSPCA as they rescue, protect and prevent cruelty to the animals of Australia.
