This week on RSPCA ANIMAL RESCUE, Sydney inspectors Anthony Crocker and Bev Holloway are called to a rural NSW property and discover a menagerie of emaciated, neglected and abused animals.

The drought has taken its toll on the land and the owner has not taken the necessary steps to care for their livestock. The inspectors take immediate action and seize several dogs in the hope of giving them a better life.

Also in Sydney, Inspector Matthew French has received a call from a Real Estate agent about an abandoned house. The tenants have done a runner, owing thousands in rent, but have left behind their beautiful kelpie cross. Inspector French heads out to collect the dog and see if it is suitable for re-homing.

And in Brisbane, ambulance officer Karen Abdy is called to rescue a flying fox caught on power lines. When she arrives she finds it’s only a baby and is rapidly losing energy from being stranded in the heat. The RSPCA must call in an Energex crew to help get the little bat off the high voltage wires and to safety. Being so young, the baby must go to a bat crèche to be reared until it can be released.

Narrated by ANTHONY FIELD, RSPCA Animal Rescue follows inspectors and staff of the RSPCA as they rescue, protect and prevent cruelty to the animals of Australia.

Why can the feral bitch (sorry female dogs) own animals over 6 months old? This disgusting person should never be allowed to own any living thing ever again!!!!!!!!
