Seven Melbourne dominated Wednesday night with a winning All People share of 27.2 per and more shows in the Top Ten than any other station – including the two most watched shows of the night.
RSCPA ANIMAL RESCUE was the most watched program on Wednesday night both in Melbourne (436,000) and nationally (1,672,000) with a convincing win over Ten's Rules of Engagement (258,000) while the gloss continued to wear off Nine's new reality showbiz series My Kid's A Star (255,000 in Melbourne) and only managing 780,000 nationally.
THE REAL SEACHANGE enticed 354,000 viewers with a lifestyle change and scored a strong lead over Ten's Back To You (306,000) and My Kid's A Star on Nine.
Seven dominated news and public affairs last night. SEVEN NEWS (430,000) was the leading news service while ABC News (344,000), National Nine News (337,000) and Ten News (220,000) missed the scoop. TODAY TONIGHT (385,000) muscled A Current Affair (351,000) out of the timeslot.
HOME AND AWAY (312,000) stole Nine's Two and a Half Men's (300,000) punch line.
DEAL OR NO DEAL (223,000) had a strong win over Antiques Roadshow (202,000) on Nine.
Overall, Seven won the night with an audience share of 27.2 per cent, defeating Ten with 25.0 per cent and Nine in third place with 24.6 per cent. The ABC had 17.7 per cent and SBS 5.5 per cent.
