7.30pm FRIDAY / AUGUST 1
The Top 200 dancers from the national auditions arrive in Las Vegas for the gruelling call- back round.
Immediately they are given one hour to learn a challenging hip hop routine choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo. One of the standout dancers from the audition round struggles to pick up the routine and decides to opt out of the competition voluntarily. You'll be shocked to see who it is! He is not the only one who struggles, and the judges then cut 62 dancers from the competition.
On Day Two the dancers return and learn Broadway and Fox Trot routines choreographed by Tice DeOrio and Jean Marc Généreux respectively. The challenging routines brings some of the dancers unstuck and after another brutal elimination only 94 dancers remain.
The dancers return for Day Three and have to perform original choreography for the judges. The dancers are desperate to make it to the Top 20 and push themselves to their limits and beyond, as one dancer falls injured and an ambulance is called.
Finally after a long and exhausting process, the judges deliberate while the contestants wait together backstage. Each dancer is called individually to the stage and given the judges verdict. The Top 20 dancers - ten boys and ten girls - are announced!
