The 2010 TV Week Logie Awards Coming to Nine

Television legend BERT NEWTON will take centre stage at the 2010 TV WEEK LOGIE AWARDS to be held at Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex and televised on the Nine Network on Sunday, May 2.

“The Logies have always meant so much to me, and to be at the helm in a new era of Logies is just terrific,” Bert said.

“I know the new Executive Producer, Adrian Dellevergin, has a lot of exciting ideas for this year’s presentation. Adrian and I worked together for many years in the Don Lane Show era, and to work with him again is a joy.”

The musical stage is set to soar with two first class international guests. Multiple Grammy Award winner JOHN MAYER is confirmed to perform on the Logies stage and Scottish sensation SUSAN BOYLE, who captivated the world with her incredible performance.

Australia’s GABRIELLA CILMI, who has six ARIA awards to her name and a performance from the cast of the hit musical FAME will also be part of the outstanding Logies lineup.

Executive producer of the TV Week Logie Awards, Adrian Dellevergin says "The Logies are always such a great night and to be producing the biggest show in town and having Bert is truly a great honour.

I'm excited about our new team and all the fantastic local and international talent on board with plenty of surprises to reveal on the night.”

The 2010 TV WEEK Logie Awards night is shaping up to be bigger, better, more entertaining, glamorous and star-studded than ever before.
