**LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE**

After two weeks of fierce competition, Seven tonight serves up live coverage of the men’s final direct from Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

World No.1 Roger Federer is hotly tipped to take out the title for third time but players such as recent French Open winner Rafael Nadal and 2004 Oz Open champ Marat Safin may just give the Swiss maestro a run for his money.

Other players in the men’s game who could be in with a chance of battling it out in the final include 2006 Medibank International winner James Blake, World No.6 Andy Roddick, 2006 Oz Open runner up Marcos Baghdatis and course, World No.19 Lleyton Hewitt.

Last year’s final attracted 2.7 million viewers nationally and went on to become the fourth most-watched program in 2006.

Prior to the match kicking off at 7.30pm, Seven will run a preview show.

Hosted by MATTHEW WHITE with expert commentary from four-time Grand Slam champion JIM COURIER and JOHN ALEXANDER.

It seems to me a very simple decision:
Australia's Tennis Grand Slam needs to be played on Synthetic Grass. It's the the surface that most Australians actually play on, and a surface that would make our Grand Slam unique. Not to mention far fewer injuries and much shorter rain delays. And if it happens to give the Aussie players a bit of an advantage, that's ok too. To have 2 of the 4 Grand Slams on the same surface is rediculous. I'd like to see Federer Nadal on Synthetic Grass.

Currently the website is just a convenient place to post and collaborate on models used in fundamental equity research. Right now you can find versions of a LVLT model I am developing in the "Project" folder of that website.

What would have been the course of the SS privatization debate,-especially SS-national savings-equity premium nexus, if this had been the standard all along?

I've just been letting everything happen without me lately, but oh well. I haven't been up to much these days. Today was a complete loss. Shrug. More or less nothing seems important, but such is life.

More or less nothing seems worth doing. I haven't been up to anything today. My mind is like a void.

I just don't have much to say lately. I've pretty much been doing nothing to speak of, but that's how it is. Eh. Nothing seems worth thinking about, but I don't care. Today was a loss. Oh well.

Today was a complete loss. I feel like a complete blank. I don't care.

More or less nothing seems worth thinking about. I guess it doesn't bother me. I just don't have much to say right now. My life's been completely bland lately.

I gather that the rebound ace they are playing on at this Australian Open in faster than in other years.
I am really loving the tennis of Federer & Gonazales - great rallies & some great net play. If the court is faster, is that why we are seeing this type of tennis being played successfully.
Why is it that the Australian Open, why as many of my tennis playing friends ask, is not played on artificial grass as artificial grass is what 90% or Australian's play on .
