Next Generation Adelaide International – Men's Final
Sunday January 6
1:30pm
Australia’s own Lleyton Hewitt introduced his tennis abilities and competitive fire to the world at these championships when he won the event and his first ATP title in 1998. The win made Hewitt the youngest tour winner since Michael Chang in 1988 and the lowest ranked (No. 550) winner in tour history.
Now in its 119th year, the 2008 Next Generation Adelaide International will once again feature a strong line-up of overseas tennis stars and local favourites.
Among the field that will have been vying for a place in today’s final during the week are World No. 13 Richard Gasquet and of course, Hewitt, who will be bidding for a third title in his hometown.
