ABC TV continues its coverage of the 2008-2009 Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) season.
A highlights package will screen Saturday afternoons at 2.30pm on ABC1; the live matches will screen on Friday nights at 8pm on ABC2.
This week sees Sydney Uni take on Adelaide.
So I am watching the fabulous Wide World of Sports on Channel 9 and a pretty little dolly bird is interviewing Joey Johns before he starts his walk from Newcastle to Sydney. Standing to her left is the footy king and to her right is our current prime minister, Kevin Rudd. Now I didnt vote for Kevy but he is growing on me, soliciting himself to more sports than Bob Hawke and John Howard put together. But the aforementioned interviewer doesnt even BOTHER to introduce our highest ranking public servant nor does she stop goggling at Joey throughout the interview. Is it just me or are certain polite protocols a reasonable expectation of any journo? Cristie - Mudgee
