Put down your pens, rulers, mobile phones and lipgloss…and get ready for a life lesson you won't forget!

Summer Heights High returns to ABC1 for repeat screenings Wednesdays at 9:30pm and on ABC2 Thursdays at 9:00pm. The comedy is written by and stars comedian Chris Lilley - the creator of the award-winning We Can Be Heroes: Finding the Australian of the Year.

Summer Heights High explores what happens over one school term in an average Australian high school. Continuing the successful mockumentary format of We Can Be Heroes, Lilley brings to life Jonah Takalua, Mr G and Ja'mie King. Hilarious, absurd, and frequently shocking, Summer Heights High reveals a world where small issues become huge, social groups are important, careers are built, young minds are moulded, hopes are shattered, and dreams are realised. In episode two, Mr G takes over the drama department, naming himself the Director of Performing Arts and causes chaos at the school. Ja'mie has her first day at Summer Heights High, joining the popular group and assaulting them with her views on public education. Jonah finds it difficult to stick to his Polynesian Pathways contract but reveals his secret desire to learn how to read.

Summer Heights High will be repeated on ABC2 -Thursday, October 23 at 9:00pm
