**SPECIAL EVENT**
*Features exclusive performances by Guy Sebastian*
Tonight, the Sunrise team joins GUY SEBASTIAN to pay tribute to the music of Memphis – the undisputed home of rock’n’roll, soul and blues. Australians have cast their vote for their favourite songs from the likes of Elvis Presley, the Drifters and Aretha Franklin and SUNRISE PRESENTS: YOUR SONG will count them down.

Guy has a real connection to Memphis after recently returning from recording his latest album there with several musicians who wrote and recoded with Elvis, Otis Redding, Al Green and Wilson Pickett.

Australia’s No. 1 breakfast show today announced it will tackle the up-coming election the old fashioned way – with politicians answering questions direct from Sunrise viewers.
Over the last few weeks the Sunrise Family conducted an in-depth study into the issues that matter most to Sunrise viewers.
Four main topics became clear: Money Matters, Health, Workplace Relations and Environment
Sunrise is now calling on Federal Government Ministers and Shadow Ministers to come to the Martin Place studios and go head-to-head on these issues over the next four weeks.
Sunrise hosts David Koch and Melissa Doyle will act as moderators reading questions from viewers posted on the Sunrise Election ROSwall and Yahoo7!
Director of Morning Television Adam Boland says this is the best way to give Sunrise viewers a voice.
"This is direct democracy. We're not interested in spin or PR flaks. We want the people in charge of their portfolios to front up and directly answer our viewers."
