The Primetime Emmy Awards air on Monday September 19th at 10am and 10.30pm on Fox 8

The 63rd Prime Time Emmy Awards will be screened live in Australia on FOX8 from 10am eastern, on Monday September 19, 2011. Correction: There is no prime time replay. Glee’s Jane Lynch will host the awards for the first time.

E! will have live coverage of the 2011 Emmy’s red carpet arrivals from 8am eastern that day, with replays continuing throughout the day.

Shows featuring nominations include Mad Men, The Borgias, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Mildred Pearce and The Good Wife.

Throng will again provide detailed coverage of the event on the day.

There is no free to air coverage of the Emmys.

Survivor host lands talkshow

Survivor host Jeff Probst has scored his own daytime talkshow on CBS in the US. “I’m fascinated with human nature and thrilled that this show will allow me the opportunity to connect with real people and explore their stories on a personal level,” Probst said in a written statement. 

Breaking Bad to possibly finish after season five

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has suggested the drama series will end after its fifth season. “Right now I would say season five should probably be our last season. But… check with me a year from now [and] we’ll see if I change my tune.”

Romano eyes possible reunion on The Middle

Ray Romano is said to be lining up a guest role in The Middle that would see him reunite with his former Everybody Loves Raymond castmate Patricia Heaton, who plays Frankie heck on the sitcom.

Sheen signs sitcom deal?

Reports are suggesting Charlie Sheen has inked a deal with Lionsgate Television to feature in a new sitcom that is currently being shopped around the networks in the US.
