Burn Notice

9.30pm Thursday, September 9 on Ten

Michael, Fiona and Sam try to grab the mystery killer from last week’s ending, the kinda sexy Kendra (“Numb3rs” Navi Rawat), after being unable to play the tape cartridge she left behind. Michael plans to trap and interrogate her but she evades his first attempt and leaves behind a cell phone so they can keep in contact. Meanwhile, Michael is hired to stop drug dealers from harassing a doctor (Benito Martinez) who runs a neighbourhood clinic.

Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and Jesse (Coby Bell) are in the Bahamas following up on a lead from last week’s episode in which Jesse’s contact Cobra goes missing and they have reason to believe his body has been dumped in the Bahamas. Meanwhile, Michael and Sam get dragged into a hostage situation at a local bank.

9.30pm Thursday, August 26 on Ten

In this week’s episode of Burn Notice, a couple of the ‘background’ characters get to be more centre stage. First off there’s Madeline, who’s enjoying having Jesse around the house, and also getting to the bottom of who he is and why he’s in Michael’s life. Then there’s Sam. Usually Sam is backup for Michael or Fi, always there when they need him playing wacky undercover guys to keep the baddies distracted, sitting on a rooftop with a long range rifle ready to put a bullet in anyone who threatens them, or sitting in a hot car listening to endless hours of boring conversations on bugs that he’s planted. This week though, Sam has to basically run an op himself, with everyone else on the team as backup for him.

9.30pm Thursday, August 19 on Ten

What MacGyver was for the 1980′s, Michael Weston (Jeffrey Donovan) is for the 2010′s. With just enough cheesy dialogue and action, “Burn Notice” is quite the spy adventure. Tonight, Michael takes it upon himself to save Jesse Garcia (Coby Bell), the counter-intelligence spy he ac- cidentally burned last episode. Meanwhile, Michael’s mother, Madeline (Sharon Gless), informs Michael that she is going to rent out her garage as she needs more “normal” people in her life.
