Commercial Kings is a hilarious reality series that follows commercialmakers and internet stars Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal as they roadtrip across America helping deserving small businesses market themselves.

Every episode finds our duo meeting eccentric business owners and their employees, attempting to understand what makes each business unique and what challenges the owners face in these tough economic times. They then develop, cast and produce an authentic and original commercial for the business, all in a matter of days, from concept to completion.

In the first episode, Rhett and Link get into the minds of dog owners and cats to create local commercials for a cat boarding facility and a doggie day care.

Margaret Hughes runs the Holiday Hotel for Cats, a cat boarding facility or ‘resort’, as she likes to call it.

While communicating with cats comes naturally to Margaret, she finds that persuading their owners to bring their cats to her ‘hotel’ is not so easy. That’s where Rhett and Link come in. For the commercial, they choose to bypass owners altogether and target their commercial directly at TV-watching cats.

Meanwhile, Judy Rudin’s business, Super Shmuttle, makes normal doggie day care look like boot camp.

With her large Astroturf front yard and ‘shmuttle’ vans, Judy treats dogs to a daily cage-free ‘van-tastic voyage’ complete with harmonica accompaniment. For her commercial, Rhett and Link decide to guilt-trip dog owners into taking their beloved canine family members to Judy’s day adventure for dogs.
