This year, The Open has been added to the LPGA tour, bringing the world’s elite female golfers to Australia for the opening event of the year, meaning a win today sets the mark for the year.

This year, for the first time, The Open has been added to the LPGA tour, becoming the opening event of the year. This puts the Women’s Australian Open on the world stage and guarantees the world’s best will be there.

ABC TV’s coverage of the 2012 Australian Ladies Masters will begin at 2.00pm on Saturday, February 4th with ABC1′s telecast of the third round from the Gold Coast’s Royal Pines golf course.

ABC1′s coverage of final day of the Ladies Masters on Sunday, February 5th will begin at 1.00pm.
