ABC TV will broadcast back to back for the first time Australia’s two major golf tournaments for women – the 2012 Australian Ladies Masters (February 4 and 5) and the 2012 Women’s Australian Open (February 9,10,11 and 12).
Hosted by ABC TV sports presenter, Stephanie Brantz, the tournaments will feature some of the world’s best female golfers in two spectacular locations.
ABC TV’s coverage of the 2012 Australian Ladies Masters will begin at 2.00pm on Saturday, February 4th with ABC1′s telecast of the third round from the Gold Coast’s Royal Pines golf course.
ABC1′s coverage of final day of the Ladies Masters on Sunday, February 5th will begin at 1.00pm.
The following week ABC1 will telecast all four days’ play of the 2012 Women’s Australian Open (Feb 9,10,11 and 12) from Melbourne’s prestigious Royal Melbourne golf course.
ABC TV’s commentary will be led by Steve Robilliard and Peter Wilkins, with ball by ball descriptions provided by highly respected experts Jane Crafter and Kate Burton. Describing the action from the fairways will be Sandra McKenzie.
