How I Met Your Mother

CBS in America officially confirmed How I Met Your Mother is returning next fall for a ninth and final season, during which we will finally meet the titular mum. Thank God in my opinion – it’s getting extremely tiresome after all this time – just tell us who the yellow umbrella woman is!

An exact episode count was not released, but it’s known that the series will be back for the full 2013-14 season (typically 22 episodes). This joins news of guests stars like Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek and the fabulous James Van Der Beek set for the current series being filmed. Continue reading »

This week on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, while Marshall is in Atlantic City with Barney, Lily goes into labour, leaving him desperate to make it back to New York before the baby is born.

Meanwhile, Ted and Robin try to distract Lily during her painful contractions.

This week sees – after two weeks – a break from Grey’s Anatomy already – but in the US they have a break after the 3rd week – so maybe Seven are playing it safe. In its place (as well as Smash) is one of those trashy top 50 specials – about plastic surgery shockers. Continue reading »

Finally, Robin is sorely disappointed that her reporter job doesn’t provide her with celebrity recognition, only to see fate reversed when her news helicopter pilot suffers a stroke and she is forced to land the chopper herself while the whole city watches…
