An easy win for Nine for the night with the launch of The Voice – reaching over 1.8 million and the Logies on seemingly forever last night. However, the Logies themselves were beaten by timeslot and averages by Downton Abbey on Seven. The Red Carpet (8.12 – 8.35) reached over 1.5 million while a “supersized” Biggest Loser reached 849,000. Continue reading »

Another year, another Logie Awards Ceremony done.
But this year, the coverage on Nine did not conclude until 12.20am, wound up with a performance by One Direction after Hamish Blake’s acceptance of the 2012 Gold Logie.
With Nine premiering new talent reality competition show The Voice before The Logies, the red carpet part of the show did not even start until a few minutes after 8pm, with the ceremony itself not on air until close to 8.40pm – an hour or so later than it really happens. Continue reading »

Wow – I have to recap this show that have never really been into. The comments should fly – but at 2 and a half hours – OMG! Hang on for the ride.

based on the US version we will see Delta Goodrem, Seal, Benji Madden and Keith Urban pick Aussie talent while not basing on looks.
The Time Traveller’s Guide (Final) 7.31pm, ABC1
The series final sees us racing down the last 65 million years to the present day. In the wake of the catastrophe that saw off the dinosaurs, Australia set off on a lonely voyage in southern seas.
