The Housing Squad struggles to deal with the residents of 14,000 flats, terraces, bungalows, tower blocks and modern houses, in one of the liveliest, most varied and fractious parts of Britain. These are the men and women who spend their days tackling the problems that preoccupy modern Britain: nightmare neighbours, troublesome teens, immigration and racist abuse. It’s a tough, demanding job, but the Housing Squad copes with spirit, determination and a lot of humour.
