CRIMINAL MINDSNikita and The Carrie Diaries have been renewed but unfortunately Touch and Up All Night have been canned. Criminal Minds has also been renewed for a ninth season while Parks and Recreation has been green lit for a sixth.

Cameron Daddo, who is set to appear in Packed To The Rafters when it returns, has booked a pivotal role on Nikita, playing the President of the United States – Charles Grayson.

Details surrounding his appearance are being kept under wraps, but based on the fact that the dastardly Division is a rogue operation one,  that is not even known about by the President – it’s safe to say something is about to hit the fan.

By the time the president is introduced (in Season 2 – Episode 22, titled “Crossbow”), Percy has upped his game in a major way and everyone – including Nikita – will be playing in the big leagues.

Apparently the President will find himself blackmailed with a powerful weapon that could put not just the U.S. in jeopardy but rock the entire geopolitical climate.

Nikita fans – wondering what happened to the show? Gave up on GO! ever showing Nikita again?

Well, wonder no more – Nikita is back after being off air since March, this time airing on Tuesday nights at 11pm, after The Bachelorette.

Unfortunately, due to such a long time off air, many fans would have given up on the show, possibly sourcing episodes from elsewhere.

If enough people watch Nikita, it will stay on, at least for the rest of the season. If not, it will drop back to after midnight or disappear again.

As this is a last minute change, chances are many won’t notice it is back on at all, and figures will be lower than they should be.

Most comments on Facebook about Nikita’s return were either along the lines of “About friggin time” and “why so late”

Now – when are GO! going to schedule Pretty Little Liars? Another new show that the channel took off unannounced. In the US, they are up to season 2, episode 12. The first season has 22 episodes, GO! are up to the 13th (from memory – correct me if I’m wrong), while the second has 25 episodes supposedly.

Having already seen most of the first season, and read about the second, Pretty Little Liars only gets better.

Nikita also has a second season, which premieres in the US in September.
