8:30pm – Tuesday, January 24 on ABC2

It’s ‘Super Sales Wednesday’, otherwise known as ‘Family Fun Day’ to the annoyed staff of PhoneShop Sutton and this year, Jerwayne (Javone Prince) and Ashley (Andrew Brooke) refuse to get their faces painted by Val, the one-armed face painter. But Lance (Martin Trenaman) isn’t concerned, this year he has a secret weapon… a mascot. They send Christopher (Tom Bennett) dressed in a bear suit, to do battle with the public in the mall.

When Janine (Emma Fryer), Ashley and Jerwayne learn that Phoneshop head office and the rest of the High Street traders think that the Sutton branch is on the brink of closing down, they aim to do something about it. Hyped up on bad coffee, they’re on a mission to smash their sales targets to prove everyone wrong.

8:30pm – Tuesday, January 17 on ABC2

The arrival of area manager, Razz Prince, at the store sets everyone on edge. Razz takes Christopher (Tom Bennett) under his wing and asks him to spy on Lance (Martin Trenaman). In returns Razz promises Christopher that he will be the next PhoneShop manager.

Lance is upset when he learns that the staff thinks he’s boring, and he’s out to prove them wrong with reggae, soccer balls and marijuana.

Meanwhile everyone else prepares for a big night out.

8:30pm – Tuesday, January 10 on ABC2

To help Christopher (Tom Bennett) prepare for a lunchtime date, with a girl he just met, Jerwayne (Javone Prince) and Ashley (Andrew Brookes) give him some sure-fire tips on how to make the best impression – which includes pretending to like Jude Law, looking spiritual and acting unavailable.

Janine (Emma Fryer) takes Lance (Martin Trenaman) out to breakfast, with an ulterior motive, she wants to convince him that she’s ready for the next step in her PhoneShop career. Lance obsesses over an email from a colleague from another shop: could they be interested in him?

8:30pm – Tuesday, January 3 on ABC2

Starting Tuesday 3 January at 8.30pm is the UK comedy series PhoneShop, the six-part comedy series about a dedicated bunch of Phoneshop employees.

Store manager Lance (Martin Trenaman) has worked for the PhoneShop Group for a very long time. His friends, who have moved up to run companies and own football clubs, may think that he’s wasting his time, but Lance doesn’t – he sees it as a sanctuary from his terrifying and demanding wife, Shelley. Ashley (Andrew Brooke) and Jerwayne (Javone Prince) are the two ‘sales professionals’ of PhoneShop and battle it out daily for the title of top salesman.

Ashley is a phone-selling machine and is always able to sell longer, more expensive contracts to any customer foolish enough to come through the door. Jerwayne considers himself more of a ladies’ man, despite still sleeping on a single bed at his mum’s. The object of his constant affections is Janine (Emma Fryer) who’s been stuck selling the less lucrative Pay-As-You-Go phones for the last three and a half years.

She’s convinced that her next big move up the corporate ladder is just moments away, but realistically the only thing moments away is the net barrage of bad chat-up lines and obscene gestures from Jerwayne, but still she lives in hope.

With top salesman Little Gary Patel in jail, for the first time the PhoneShop staff’s position of No 1.

salesperson is up for grabs. Lance’s secret weapon is a new recruit and graduate Christopher (Tom Bennett). Fresh from the world of academia, Christopher is a goldfish in the shark tank of PhoneShop.

Unfortunately it looks as if Christopher will be more of a damp squib, so it’s left up to Ashley, Jerwayne and Janine to ensure that every mug punter within five square miles gets locked down to the worst, most expensive mobile phone contract known to mankind.
