Rated A For Awesome

7:15am – Monday, June 4 on ABC3

Les, Noam, Thera, Lars and Mr Twitchy are back with new episodes of the cool animated series, Rated A For Awesome. The five best buds continue their mission – to fight against blah (anything that is boring or uncool) using all their powers of awesomization.

Awesomization is the act of turning something blah into something completely awesome, like building robots to do your chores or souping up detention by turning it into ‘Club D’ the hottest spot in the entire school.

And when it comes to this group, there’s only one rule – make the world awesome or get detention trying.

Episode 27, Bad News Noam: Monday, June 4 at 7.15am Noam’s having a bad day and it continues to get worse by the minute! So to negate his negative emotions, Noam invents a device which turns him into a happy-go-lucky guy whenever he gets angry.

Although this works out great for Noam, it turns the town, and his friends, against each other.

6:00pm – Friday, July 15 on ABC3

Friday,15 July 2011 Rated A For Awesome is a 52 x 11 minute animated series following the adventures of Team Awesome who are on a mission – to fight against all things ‘Blah’ using their powers of Awesomisation (the power to make things awesome).

If you’ve been caught looking goofy at the school dance or stuck with the world’s most boring teacher, you can bet blah’s behind it. Pretty much anything kids think is boring, dull or mundane will find itself the target of Team Awesome – for better or worse.

Team Awesome is made up or five best friends. Les, the team leader, may be small in stature but he’s got HUGE ideas on how to majorly awesomise blah stuff… which means he’s almost always in over his head. Fortunately gadget guru Noam and his super IQ are there to come up with designs for Les’s ideas. Les’s super athletic and ultra-competitive step-sister Thera is a big team booster who can definitely keep up with the boys. Then there’s Lars, an oddball exchange student from faraway Norg who’s a born performer; and Mr Twitchy, the team’s monkey cameraman, who has a fabulous hairdo and a one-word, all-purpose vocabulary: Ooka.

When it comes to Team Awesome there’s only one rule: make the world awesome or get detention trying.
