With Gem not choosing to screen this show as desired; this may come as bittersweet news to fans.

US drama Rizzoli & Isles has been renewed for a third season complete with Fifteen Episodes.

Starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, the TNT series has been classified as a ‘mega hit’, launching to record ratings.

Gem, as stated, owns the rights to this show, but it is not at this time screening on air.

Update: Gem will actually be screening the second season from Wednesday August 15 at 10.30pm.

Good news for Rizzoli & Isles fans.

After being taken off GEM recently to make way for movies, Rizzoli & Isles is back in the schedule on 10.30pm Tuesday nights from Jan 18, 2011. It plays from the first episode. Two were played already, so for those who have seen the show, the first two will be repeats. With a late start, the chances of the show remaining in the same time slot should be increased.

Conan is on a two week break over Christmas. The last episode before the break airs late Christmas night here. He is back on GEM Wed 12.

Also on a two week break is Ellen, now airing in repeats on GEM and Nine (when the cricket is not on). New episodes of The Ellen Degeneres Show return Tue Jan 4.

 Programming subject to change.
