Joining ROVE on the couch from the set of ROVE LA on Monday October 24, are JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, actor JAMES MARSDEN and actress ELIZA DUSHKU.
Justin Timberlake has become an accomplished artist who is widely-considered as one of pop culture’s most influential entertainers. In addition to his music as a Pop-R&B singer/songwriter, he has also embarked on a successful career in film and television as both an actor and producer and entrepreneur.
Currently starring in the film In Time, Timberlake reveals his obsession with Tim Tams, chats about his fear of spiders and magpies and having to stand up for himself at school during his time on The Mickey Mouse Club.
James Marsden, currently starring with Kate Bosworth in Straw Dogs, Marsden is probably best known for his role as Cyclops in three X-Men films, as well as for playing a prince in the Disney film, Enchanted and his other film work includes 27 Dresses, The Box and The Notebook.
James reveals that he kicked off his career as a 16-year-old news anchor dressing up in his grandfather’s suit and that in his spare time likes to watch football and drink beer with his mate Justin Timberlake.
In a classic awkward television moment, Rove embarrasses James as he digs out vision from the vault of him and his school mates appearing as a band on the television program Good Morning Oklahoma.
Eliza Dushku is a familiar face to fans of fantasy and science fiction TV series, thanks to her role as Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as Tru Calling and Dollhouse.
Dushku discusses the time she serves as a culture ambassador for Albania, the country where her family is originally from and shows off her commitment- her tattoo of the national symbol, a double-headed eagle. Unlike Justin, Eliza talks about being elevated to coolness at school as a 12-year-old when she starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies.
As only Rove can do, he does some digging to discover one of Eliza’s lifelong dreams which he helps to fulfill during the show.
The one-hour series also provides viewers with Rove’s take on the LA way of life and serves up a weekly slice of Hollywood, taking the audience beyond the tourist traps to discover why the phrase “Only in LA” was coined.
This week Rove visits his neighbours at the CBS studios meeting up with The Price is Right host Drew Carey and his audience to discover what it takes to be picked as an audience member and what lengths they will go to get noticed. Rove ticks another item off his bucket list when he joins The Price Is Right team as one of their models.
Confirmed guests for episode seven, Monday October 31 are k.d. lang, actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and American actor and comedian Rainn Wilson.
Rove LA airs at 8.30pm on Fox 8, Mondays.
