The Following (soon to air on Nine), The Mindy Project (that I loved and Seven canned), New Girl from Ten and Eleven’s Raising Hope have all been renewed. The Mindy Project has also confirmed that Chloe Sevigny has joined the cast.

Glee and Touch – also from the same network in the USA have yet to be confirmed.

I can only assume that this event is going to be pretty dry and humourless.  Crowe is certainly no Ellen DeGeneres or Billy Crystal.

Oscar winner Russell Crowe will  host this year’s Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards Ceremony to be held next Wednesday, January 30 and broadcast the same night on TEN at 9.30pm.

Coming straight from presenting the AACTA International Awards in L.A. this Saturday, January 26, Crowe will headline a star-studded line-up of presenters including fellow Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush. Continue reading »

Sam Kekovich Guest Stars In The Australia Day Showdown Special On TEN.

Network Ten today announced it will broadcast The Australia Day Showdown – You Can Never Be Too Australian, a one-hour prime time special with guest Sam Kekovich airing on Australia Day.

Hosted by Charlie Pickering, two teams consisting of Kitty Flanagan, Meshel Laurie, Akmal, Tom Gleeson, Denise Scott and Lawrence Mooney will debate the topic “You Can Never Be Too Australian”. Continue reading »

The Network Ten headquarters in Sydney has been evacuated this morning (Mon Oct 29) because of a bomb threat.

According to reports a bomb threat was phoned into the headquarters just before 11am, leading to staff being evacuated from the building in Pyrmont, Sydney. Continue reading »
