Drug raids are common practice for the Western Australian Police and their daily fight against crime. But what happens when the prime suspect is a 72-year-old grandmother?

In response to local community concerns, police have established a major drug operation to put a stop to street-level dealing in and around Western Sydney. They’ve recruited the help of Regional Enforcement Squad (RES) who are honing in on a suspected drug dealer. The only problem is just as the green light is given to capture the dealer; a massive truck blocks the road!

Officers patrolling Perth city notice a car parked up on a bike path with the engine running. The man in driver’s seat has a suspended license, he’s been drinking with his mate and the car is unregistered.

Northern Territory Water Police team up with Indigenous Sea Rangers who target illegal fishermen and crabbers who are reaping havoc in an overfished million dollar black-market.

THE FORCE cameras are with police as the unbelievable happens.

A state-wide manhunt for a wanted fugitive…. notorious criminal Brett Klimczak has escaped from prison and is on the run. WA’s Regional Investigations Unit (RIU) need to track down this desperate and dangerous escapee, but catching him won’t be easy. Klimczak is wreaking havoc across the city, stealing vehicles and breaking and entering. Klimczak is desperate not to be caught and this makes him extremely dangerous.

Late night shopping in an upmarket Perth district attracts shoplifters. On this particular evening, women’s clothing has been stolen from a shop.

Every parent’s worst nightmare is realised – a father discovers a suspicious looking explosive device in his own front yard. Local police and the fire brigade are first on scene, but deem the job to risky. They call in the experts – Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit.

This week on THE FORCE, cameras are with police as the unbelievable happens.

Eighteen year old Josh is pulled over in Sydney’s Kings Cross. He is now potentially losing his license for taking his daddy’s flash BMW for a spin – the sports car is unregistered and Josh doesn’t have his P-Plates on display. To make matters worse officers have now discovered that the 335i Series BMW is listed on the prohibited car list for P-Plate drivers.

A man who is known to police is spotted riding a motorised bicycle without a helmet. Officers stop him for the purposes of a search to find a small amount of amphetamine in a bag. A second search uncovers more drugs…

Police get reports of a gunman roaming suburban streets. They are quick to respond. Officers meet up with the Tactical Response Group who prepare to confront the gunman.

Ted, an 89 year old grandfather has gone missing after walking out his house. His 85- year-old wife is worried and his two sons are out looking for him. It’s getting cold and a big storm is on its way. For police it’s a race against time to make sure Ted is found.
