Lady Gaga is to join the ladies of The View as a co-host tomorrow. The very liberal and open Gaga should be an interesting match against the ultra conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Gaga will also perform songs from “Born This Way” on the show. The View airs at 10.20am on W and 1pm on channel 9.
T.R Knight returns to the small screen
T.R. Knight has got his first TV role since famously parting ways with Grey’s Anatomy in 2009, and it’s a definite departure from the loveable George O’Malley.
Knight will guest-star on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU, playing a suspected serial rapist. Knight’s episode is currently in production.
Since negotiating his exit from Grey’s two years ago — following much backstage tension after co-star Isaiah Washington directed an anti-gay slur at him and was consequently fired— Knight has focused on stage work.
Rosie O’Donnell is back!
After a nine-year absence, Rosie O’Donnell is heading back to daytime television with her new show, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, on Oprah’s network. The series is to be filmed on the same stage as Oprah’s iconic show. No word yet if OWN is to hit our shores anytime soon.
