Questions over Minogue’s future with The Voice
With possible conflicts with Kylie Minogue’s tour at the end of the year and the next season of The Voice UK, speculation was rife that she wouldn’t be returning. The BBC is keen to retain her though if the series is recommissioned saying they are aware of Kylie’s touring commitments and are looking to accommodate them.

A Belgian maths teacher, frustrated that threats of detention weren’t working with his students, started to threaten them with revelations as to which characters died in the fourth season of Game of Thrones if they refused to comply with his request for silence. Strangely enough, the tactic worked.

They will take up their red chairs next to returning Coaches Ricky Martin and Joel Madden in the new season of the hit show on Channel Nine next year.

Kylie Minogue is joining BBC singing show The Voice as one of the coaches in the new series. The Australian will join returning stars will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones in the third series with a fourth coach yet to be announced.
She said: “I’m very excited to become a coach on The Voice. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series. “The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that. Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!”

Ricky Martin is on his way back to Australia for his first tour in 13 years and is likely to sign on for another year in The Voice’s red chair. As Martin drops the video for latest hit Come With Me, he revealed he is in negotiations to return to Australia for the third season of The Voice.
“We are working on that right now, I can’t tell you yes or no but oh my God, I would love to do it again,” he said. “I don’t mind spending another year in Australia, are you kidding me? Let’s see what happens.” Continue reading »
