Press Release. Foxtel‘s express from the US campaign is putting Australian customers at the heart of global rollouts for some phenomenal dramas.

Australian audiences will see the season premiere Tuesday October 16 at 8:30pm AEST on FX, exclusively on FOXTEL, less than 33 hours after US audiences will see the third season premiere.

The series’ third season will consist of 16 episodes.  Season three of “The Walking Dead” will air in two-parts with the first eight hours kicking off internationally in October and returning in February, 2013 with the final eight episodes.

On Monday night at 8.30pm, The Emmy winning Justified will premiere with it’s pilot – Fire In The Hole: After shooting a fugitive in Miami, gunslinging US Marshal Raylan Givens returns to his native Kentucky, coming face to face with an old friend leading a deadly white supremacist gang.

On Wednesdays at 8.30pm is “Call me Fitz”, Jason Priestly plays, Fitz a handsome and and conscience-free, substance abusing car salesman. He torments his co-workers, sleeps with any woman and thinks life is perfect. The pilot will air Wednesday March 7 at 8.30pm.

Also exciting is the day time line up with Alias, Dark Angetl, Las Vegas and Life On Mars all starting from their premieres.

500th episode of The Simpsons

The landmark 500th episode of The Simpsons will air in the US on February 19, 2012. Executive producer Al Jean said of the episode: “There’s a big town meeting that the Simpsons don’t know about, and when they go in, they discover the town is saying they’re going to get rid of the Simpsons. They’re sick of them.”

Hitler to feature in Doctor Who

Hitler will feature in the storyline of the new run of Doctor Who episodes coming later this year. The character will be played by actor Albert Welling.

Brody joins MTV animation

Former The OC actor Adam Brody has signed on to provide the voice for a character on a new MTV animation. Brody will lend his voice to Good Vibes, a series that focuses on the lives of two friends in a Californian beach town.

Darabont steps down from The Walking Dead

Frank Darabont has stepped down as showrunner of new zombie drama The Walking Dead and has been replaced by his no. 2 Glen Mazzara.
