Network Ten and FOXTEL today announced they had secured the exclusive Australian broadcast rights to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi,
India.
The agreement will see TEN and FOXTEL deliver Australian viewers the most comprehensive coverage of this blue ribbon multi-sport event ever seen on Australian free-to-air and subscription television.
TEN, who today officially won the rights from the Organising Committee for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games as part of a competitive bid process, will partner with FOXTEL to broadcast the 2010 Commonwealth Games, from October 3 to 14 that year.

The Australian Football League, the Seven and TEN networks and FOXTEL today announced an agreement for AFL broadcast rights across free to air and pay television for 2007-11.
Seven and TEN retain four games per home and away season round – including one Friday night and Sunday afternoon game for Seven, and one Saturday afternoon and night game
for TEN – as well as exclusive live coverage of the finals series, Grand Final and prestigious Brownlow Medal Count.
Seven and TEN have licensed four home and away season games per round to FOXTEL – including one Saturday afternoon and night game and one Sunday afternoon and the new twilight game. These games will be shown nationally on FOXTEL and AUSTAR via Fox Sports.

TEN's chief executive officer, Grant Blackley, and chief programming officer, David Mott, launched TEN's 2007 lineup this afternoon at Sydney's State Theatre.
Mr Mott explained how TEN would build on its outstanding 2006 performance, in which TEN has achieved its sixth consecutive annual win in the 16-39 demographic (simultaneously securing its all-time high commercial share in under-40s).
And – for the first time – TEN is #1 in the US benchmark 18-49 demographic. Approximately 75% of advertisers’ TV dollars are spent targeting consumers aged 18-49.
TEN has also won the biggest audience gains of any of the commercial networks this year in all major demographics under 50.
