Acclaimed British actor Edward Woodward guest stars in The Bill, along with his son and grandson.

Old man, former East End gangster Johnnie Jackson (Edward Woodward) is found badly beaten, but won't tell the police who did it.

CCTV footage reveals the assailant is a man associated with Bosnian gang leader and drugs importer Andreas Audra (Ivan Marevich). Audra, along with local villain Roger Hutton (Tim Woodward), owns the local pub where Johnnie drinks, and Johnnie's grandson Steven 'Jacko' Jackson (Sam Woodward) lives upstairs.

Sgt Dale Smith (Alex Walkinshaw) and DS Max Carter (Christopher Fox) discover that 'Jacko' appears to be involved in the gang's activities, and is also listed as the licensee of a lap-dancing club that uses illegal immigrants as prostitutes. With Johnnie unwilling to tell the police why he was bashed, they struggle to unravel the connections. Then tragedy strikes...
